This community college in Northern Michigan is always looking to reach more potential students. Recognizing how younger generations are straying away from traditional media channels, Kirtland knew they needed to get more involved with digital marketing, but they weren’t sure how they would measure its effectiveness.

The first step to successful digital marketing is an effective strategy. By targeting Facebook ads to locals in the area with related interests, SOLV has been able to increase student applications for degree programs at Kirtland. Students using the Google search engine to find college choices are also reached by our paid search results and display ads.

In addition to new leads, SOLV has helped Kirtland use technology to improve their closing rate on student inquiries over the phone. By utilizing sophisticated call-tracking technology, Kirtland has been able to better understand students’ motivators and what drove them to call Kirtland.
